Ron Whitworth, owner and promoter of Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas passed away this evening from a massive heart attack. I have talked with him several times and the guy loved his race track and the fans and was a devoted family man. He will be missed up there at "The Hummer."

What a shame, he will be missed, had just talked to Ron last week about doing a Show there next year. He was all about putting on a show for the fans.
