When Donnie Kreitz drove a Nance car he had the same number he always had. Our USAC Champ Car was #38. I don't recall off the top of my head any of those numbers. I will dig through some pictures and see what I can find though.

Do you happen to have any pictures of a Nance painted purple or a downtube Nance?

I found a photo I was thinking of and it was a USAC Silver Crown car with the #38 driven by Sammy Swindell. So it was not the numbers you were asking about. Now I'm real curious....

The #38 was assigned to us by USAC. That wasn't a # we chose. We only raced that car a handful of times. Not even sure where that car wound up.

Did Gerry Hart from Michigan ever have a Nance car?

Racer1n, I saw some photos of the car restored on the WG forum a while back if my memory isn't failing me?

Darryl Saucier ran a Nance car back in the late 80's with Darrel Hanestad as the driver. The car was number "1st" Jeff Swindell drove the "1st" earlier in the 80's but may have not been a Nance chassis at that time.

Jac Haudenschild drove it as well.
