I think this is pertinent to our common interests; http://www.opednews.com/articles/UAW-Files-Charges-Against-by-Greg-Palast-121102-673.html "For Mitt Romney, it's one scary Halloween. The Presidential candidate has just learned that tomorrow afternoon he will charged with violating the federal Ethics in Government law by improperly concealing his multi-million dollar windfall from the auto industry bail-out. At a press conference in Toledo, Bob King, President of the United Automobile Workers, will announce that his union and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) have filed a formal complaint with the US Office of Government Ethics in Washington stating that Gov. Romney improperly hid a profit of $15.3 million to $115.0 million in Ann Romney's so-called "blind" trust. The union chief says, "The American people have a right to know about Gov. Romney's potential conflicts of interest, such as the profits his family made from the auto rescue. ...It's time for Gov. Romney to disclose or divest." King added, "While Romney was opposing the rescue of one of the nation's most important manufacturing sectors, he was building his fortunes with his Delphi investor group, making his fortunes off the misfortunes of others."

Hey dirt in ur beer, Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, but I was working for "the man" and did not have the opportunity to get back to you. You give an example of a private contractor, the tree trimmer. I am not the man in that case. I do not own the worker. When you are "the man" you are in the position of control over that worker and insisting on him perofmr in undesirable work conditions. That tree trimmer knows the "gig" and controls his own conditions more so than "working for the man. As far as taking care of people who perform work for me, they are paid what they are contracted for just like a union employee and the contract they form for the work they perform. I will say that I take care of the people that perform a service and do it well no matter who it is. I also am sure to take care of people who do not have a contract like a food server. If the service is good or even better, they are given at least a 20% tip to show my appreciation for a job well done. Now with this being said, there are also people that abuse the union privilege and I certainly do not agree with this part of the union. A union should be there for the employee to protect them from being taken advantage of and the injustices that occur.

Thanks for the reply. I only disagree with one thing u said. the employer doesnt own the employee. He owns the job.Again thanks for the civil well thoght out reply.

We'll be celebrating the election of Hillary Clinton as the first woman president in 2016, and as long as we're exporting oil as we are now, we don't need your damn pipeline....Celebrate that!

Hillary? Don't bet on it. Not if Valerie Jarrett has anything to say about it.

It'd be the ultimate in hypocrisy to run an old white person. Even if she's a woman.

The Ds are going to put up Michelle in 2016.

This jackwads welfare check will still arrive on time next month. "the democratic party is clearly for the working people"???? What drug is it you are on? The dems are for the BUMS that live off of the government! Which is why the fool that got 4 more years got re-elected.

Your ACCESS card will be reloaded for the purchase of your groceries lpjazz.... you still have enough money to buy your beer and cigarettes.

Another quality response from an uneducated know it all. Thank you for informing us all of what the access card is used for because I was unaware. Your knowledge of this card certainly explains to everyone your background, sophistication and education. What a respresentative you are for the paposse. I have met some of the finest people in the world in paposse land, but it is clear and evident you do not represent them well....at all. I am sure they are all very pleased with you and your clouded view. Just remember Romney lost and the biggest reason is because of what the last republican president did for this country....nothing!! Don't believe me, then why was George W. not included in the campaign plan of Romney and the entire republican party? Enough Said.

Boy that's sure a zinger Leon, if you pretend that wasn't 31 years ago. Oh, but that's what you do isn't it; pretend that Bush didn't get us on the verge of a total collapse of our monetary system. Hell man, while you at it keep pretending Bush wasn't on "watch" for 9/11 too, or that he attacked the wrong county after it.

Before I get started here, I am not a big supporter of Bush. He had his share of dumb mistakes when he was president. That being said "O" will not be able to blame Bush for his policy failure anymore in these next 4 years and things are about to get a lot worse for this country. Remember, at the end of 2008 we had a 10 trillion dollar debt and Obama said that if he couldn't cut the deficit he was not worthy of re-election. The debt went up by 7 trillion dollars, in just 4 years. The debt rose more than half of what it was under Bush after 8 years, in only 4 years. If Obama didn't cut the debt in the last 4 years he was president, what makes you think he will do it in another 4 years?

He turned NASA, our space program into a Muslim outreach and atmosphere climate monitoring center. Who in their right mind would turn a space program into a Muslim therapy feel good session? Isn't foreign affairs the state department's job? Let's not forget also that he invited the Muslim Brotherhood to the white house back in March and gave them millions of dollars. The same Muslim Brotherhood that helped found terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and Hezbollah. He supported the Arab Spring, which was actually a radical Islamic winter, rather than a rise to democracy. The Middle East is worse off now than it was after the dictators were overthrown in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, and soon Syria and many others. Coptic Christians and other non-muslims in the majority of the Middle Eastern countries are being butchered and having their heads removed by the Islamists who came to power. Instead of helping the non-muslim minorities in the Middle East (who would be by large better and more productive citizens), he gives more fanatic radical Muslims refuge in our country even though half of them just collect welfare and call for America's destruction in their mosques. Those Radical Muslims that do work ask for ridiculous special privileges like prayer rooms, praying 5 times a day at work, gender segregation, and women wearing a burka or veil even though it is a safety hazard at some jobs. If employers don't comply, they get sued by CAIR, another organization who secretly seeks the destruction of our constitution. These ridiculous special privileges and lawsuits add unnecessary costs to employers. To the Radical muslims who want sharia law and don't want to follow our laws, I say that if they don't want to follow the laws of this country like everyone else has to do then those crazed fanatics should go back to the mess they created in the Middle East if they want Islamic law.

Obama was covering for and still refuses to fire Eric Holder over the Fast and Furious debacle which killed one of our border guards and is still killing millions of Mexican citizens. After our ambassador to Libya was murdered, Hillery and Obama went on TV and blamed a movie for the attack on our Embassy, even though the Libya's leader said that the attack was planned ahead of time. Obama and Hillary then changed their story a month later, saying that the attack was planned. Even though C-130 gunships where in the area, he refused to give the order to use them to help and watched the brave Marines and our ambassador die. The worst part is this is just a tip of the iceburg and the mountain of lies does not end there. He has not been truthful to the American people about his real agenda since day 1. Others in the Federal Government, like Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano, are just as guilty for Obama's treason for helping him cover up the truth and should be brought to justice. The George Soros MSM (funded by George Soros and Saudi Arabia, which they own 20% of shares in fox news.) media is also complicit by refusing to inform the public about this treachery and has just become another bunch of propaganda spewing, spin-doctors. They too should be brought to justice. Make no mistake, Obama is out to destroy this country not help it. Why go to all that trouble to cover up his past? Why did Obama use the slogan "Forward" in his campaign, the same slogan used by Vladimir Lenin in 1917? People need to do some research on Obama instead of just blindly following him because of his democrat label. Watch Obama 2016.

That being said I am an independent voter, and I wish we could have had better candidates in both parties or even a 3rd or 4th major party. Sorry about I grilling you and others here, but these questions need to be asked and the truth exposed. A lot of people are intentionally being kept in the dark.

CentralPaPosse nailed it I think. I have no "knowledge" of this card either, other than when I stand in line at the store behind some fine young Democrat lady with cell phone in her ear/weave and I see her swipe some card (don't say VISA on it) and ask for a pack of Newports and 5 megamillion tickets too. Makes me sick to my stomach. I've had a job or 2 or 3 since I was 18 (30+ years) these 3rd and 4th generation BUMS are killing our country. Along with the corrupt Unions and scumbag Lawyers. PS, I'm Posse too.

I like Chris Christie but it just doesn't look good for the Republicans next go around either. They are saying there might be enough hispanic voters in Georgia, Texas and Arizona to turn them blue by 2016. Plus Puerto Rico voted to become the 51st state on Tuesday. Sounds like the superpacs better be grooming a latino woman if they want a shot.

Absolutely I nailed it! An "access" card is govenment issue for the welfarians to buy their groceries and the like. Paid for by the taxpayer. I understand that SOME people need this help but there is a helluva lot of lazy bums out there sucking off of this system that don't need it.

Prime example:

A while back I stopped for gas and went in to pre-pay (cause for christ sakes you can't pump it first and pay cash later anymore) and some chic is in there, dressed to kill, I'm talking designer jeans, jewelry, leather coat.... prolly mid to late 20s and she was actually pretty damn nice to look at too. She has a WHOLE armload of gatorade, bread, buns, lunchmeat, cheese, ect.
She throws all that stuff on the counter and whips out an ACCESS card to pay for it. To top it off.... the terminal that authorizes the free stuff is messed up. So now the line is 15 deep and I just wanna prepay for my gas and get out of there. Finally the teller straightens it out and bags all the free groceries and the chic whips a benji (thats a $100 bill jazzboy) out and says.... "gimme a carton of Marlboro's too" And proceeds to the parking lot and hops in a pretty new dodge nitro and drives off.
America DOES need some CHANGE... doesn't it?

Uneducated Jazzboy? Really? What a typical comeback from the Dems way of thinking. Judging by your internet persona.... this chic very well could have been your wife. I'd lay odds that you are one of these "sucking off the system" people.

PS: I've never drawn a dime of "help" from the govenment in my life. Every bit I own was earned and not given to me. Last time I checked this is the land of equal opportunity. So for those of you currently riding the gravy train, this country would be in much better shape if you'd get off your ASS and earn your keep instead of relying on good ole Uncle Sam.

Aren't you guys gonna get hammered come Jan. 1 with a tax increase? He's no friend of Canada or the oil pipeline so I was hoping for a different verdict. To all the tree huggers out there, be careful for what you ask for. If Vegas would take it, I would bet the farm on a Republican Victory come 2016, hope I'm still around to celebrate it with you.....

The Oil Pipeline won't do too much for America except raise gasoline prices. The only reason for the Oil Pipeline is to get the oil to ships so they can sell it to China or other Asian Countries. How is this beneficial for America (except the short term jobs of building it)?

By not building a pipeline which allows the oil to be sold overseas, it actually is helping all of the gasoline consumers here in middle America (gas was $3.13 this morning, it was $3.89 just a mere 4 weeks ago) - price is projected to drop at least another $0.20 by Thanksgiving here in IA.

Why is it dropping? Because the supply is exceeding the demand. Make the supply go away and prices will be over $5 / gallon within 3 months.

Nope, there was never a connection between Iraq and 9/11 even though about 75% of of the non thinkers thought Iraqi's were on the plane. Nope, you tell me what weapons of mass destruction they had that could have been a threat to us. Even Bush and Co admitted they didn't have any.. What, old Mustard gas..LOL

The hijackers in the September 11 attacks were 19 men affiliated with al-Qaeda, and 15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia. Others were from Egypt and the UAE. The hijackers were organized into four teams, each led by a pilot-trained hijacker with four "muscle hijackers" who were trained to help subdue the pilots, passengers, and crew.

Do you think this joker thought they found him in a cave?

First, I have not said ONE WORD about losing the election. This election was a foregone conclusion as liberals now dominate the voting majority in America. That, in and of itself, is sad. Your unwarranted "digs" are beneath you Kenny. I am just surprised as I thought you were above that. I'll know from now on!
