I bet money if the roles were reversed there would have not been an incident. I don't care for Schatz but he's probably the cleanest driver out there.

I am a fan of Paul's but I was thinking the same thing. All drivers do it at some point.

What's really odd is that with all the money Tony Stewart puts into Shatz and his team they can't afford brakes. Seems those are part of sprint car racing and its up to the driver to know when to use them. Paul had the position and Shatz tried to squeeze the entry to turn 3 with predictably bad results. It happens to the best of them.

It's amazing how people get upset when there is actual racing going on. There was nothing dirty from either driver, just good racing and Schatz got pushed out.

You're just mad Sammy didn't win. Schatz took himself out by trying to put it in a place there was no room to go,thus taking himself and Darrah out.

IMO, it was close racing on Schatz part, he misjudged and nudged Paul's rear tire with his front while in the corner.
Darrah on the other hand wrecked himself. The yellow lights came on as Schatz hit the fence (heck, one set of lights is right where he wrecked so the video speaks for itself), Haud got slowed down and barely clipped him, Darrah came in a few seconds later with full head of steam and hit him hard. Did Darrah forget what the yellow lights mean? since they are running 15 seconds laps during racing, that means if it took darrah 4 seconds, that's a straightaway or more behind.

I keep mine to myself. Sammy would destroy my booster seat if I let him borrow it, would probably slam it into the wall.
