Races started at the scheduled time, evening went to completion without a red flag.

Two racing grooves or more.

Fans were well taken care of with hot dog and t-shirt shoots.

Adverising the special nights for kids coming up.

Races finished early enough for us old grouches could go visit the pits before out chariots turned into a carrot.

Knoxville Raceway, you are making strides in the right direction. NOW just dump the Late Models and bring the sprints back and you will make this 35 year fan a happy camper again.

Congratulations in the improvements!

Duane, Duane, Duane, I can see we need to increase the level of diversity training.... If and I say IF a LM track comes to you for trophies will you turn them down or will you do them and perhaps generate more business....??? Aren't the 2 situations the same???

lol, just so they aren't running on my sprint car nights at Knoxville!

I have NO objections to Late Models, I do have a problem with them removing a sprint car night from the schedule and replacing it with a Late Model night however.

I guess I still need the diversity training yet lol

There are about 325 unused nights of the year, Late Models, like weddings and family reunions could be scheduled on a non conflicting night LOL LOL LOL

I used to tell that to my EX wife also, she also had no sense of humor about about it.

Sprint Cars and NOT a matter of Life or Death, they are MUCH more important than that!

LOL LOL LOL

After River Cities, Fargo and Cedar Lake this past weekend I really have come to appreciate all the hard work that the Dunkin family does prepping Knoxville each weekend

Dump the late models ?????? Is it confusing seeing 3 or 4 cars wide in the turns. Yes it hard to tell who is in the lead. It is much easier seeing the sprint car leader go by and theeeeen 2nd place goes by & theeeen 3rd place. A good wet heavy track provides a racing surface that holds up all night and does provide for side by side/good passing throughout the pack, heats and feature. It's hard to have a track that's racey by the time we are done with hot laps and the 410 qualifying experience. Anything to minimize none racing time on the track, provides for a better racing surface.

I think there's room for both sprints and LMs. The track is just developing a fan base/following so that it's a multi-purpose facility. Some don't like the midgets or topless but they can put on a good show. Hats off to them. What will happen when the day comes and the Steve Kinser star type is in a 360 ??????????????????????
