Work’N Woody welcomes Elite Team Offices on board for recently completed “Cotton Classic” and this weekend’s “Trophy Cup”

Rio Vista, CA – October 17, 2012...Eric Malies, owner/operator of Work’N Woody is pleased to welcome Elite Team Offices as an advertising partner for this weekend’s prestigious “Trophy Cup” at the Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway, as well as this past week’s “Cotton Classic” held at Kings Speedway in Hanford, CA.

“I personally want to thank Elite Team Offices, led by Guy Stockbridge, Randy Regier & Jason Meyers, for coming on board with Work’N Woody for the Trophy Cup and last Saturday’s Cotton Classic”, said Malies.

This weekend’s Trophy Cup is shaping up to be a huge spectacle as always and is expected to draw a large crowd and the best sprint car drivers & teams in California and around the country to the Tulare County Fairgrounds one-third mile oval.

“The Trophy Cup is always a huge show and I’m excited to be supporting an event that benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I always look forward to working with the Central Valley Push Trucks, Rich Herstein and his group are some of the best in the business”.

Work’N Woody was built by Art Malies in 1978 and was operated by he and his wife Carol from Carmichael, California. Woody traveled the California highways supporting the now defunct Northern Auto Racing Club and all the major races on the West Coast until 1988, when they hit the road with the World of Outlaws, for whom they would travel with full time for the next 20 years.

After the 2008 season Art & Carol retired and their son Eric took over the operations of Work’N Woody and traveled with the World of Outlaws through 2010. In 2011, Eric brought Woody back to California, thanks to Dan Simpson and has been the “Official Safety Vehicle & Push Truck” for the “King of the West Series”, the west coast’s premiere winged sprint car series.
