Dave has his shot at Bill Davis and Richard Childress Racing. RCR. No personality does not work with today's sponsors. Hopefully his son has learned that lesson. All the best to both of them in the future.

I'm sure Dave regrets not signing that picture for you 20 years ago.
Thankfully Ryan has plenty of his Dad and grandfather for that matter in him. .

The kid is already light years ahead of his father in the asphalt department for his age. As for Dad. Bill Davis was an under funded operation. Childress's car was a new team with the left overs from the other teams passed down. Dave has had so much bad, stupid things happen to him in Nascar that has cost him him a few wins.
You will not meet a nicer polite family man than Dave.
