F1 is all car, and if you're driving for the best team and manufacturer then you will win championships, if not, then you have no chance at a championship, and may, if you're lucky, win a couple races at best, no matter how good you are. That is why it would be a waste of his talent. Also, F1 is boring as hell, another reason it would be an amazing waste of his awesome ability. I want him racing here in the U.S., where he can race sprint cars when he can, like Tony and Kasey, and run a team in sprint cars, which he has already said he wants to do. Kind of hard to do that from overseas. I never said it didn't take some sort of "talent".

All car? Come on now, F1 drivers are some of the physically and mentally fit guys around. Check out this video and tell me F1 drivers aren't hustling their cars: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMloWN-AZcw. And as far as the best teams and manufacturers winning championships, isn't that the same in all motorsports? The best team with the best equipment is typically going to win all the way from WoO to Indy to NASCAR to F1. Every racing series has power house teams, that is just the nature of racing.
The main element that goes along with that though is no matter how strong the team is they need a good driver to make their equipment work. That is the same throughout all racing series. Formula 1 drivers, just like WoO drivers have to work and prove themselves before they get into the top tier of teams. It isn't the type of deal where a driver can just get into the top name car and automatically be successful. For example: Felipe Massa has driven for Ferrari (one of the top teams) since 2006, but hasn't had a Ferrari caliber season since 2008, while his teammate (in the same equipment) has outperformed him since 2010. So the quality of the driver in the car certainly matters. And Formula 1 is actually very competitive, especially this year with the top 8 or 9 teams all being quite strong and having 7 different winners in 13 races including underdog Pastor Maldonado. There also has not been a back-to-back winner this year showing that the competition is definitely there.
You claim F1 is boring as hell and that is fine, it is your opinion and you're certainly entitled to it. But just because you don't like the sport doesn't mean that you can take away what those drivers accomplish by saying it is all car and that there isn't much competition because the "best team" always wins. I'm not asking you to change your ways or anything, I'm just trying to give you some information about another form of motorsport and why it is not a waste of talent for any driver to go to Formula 1, after all it is the biggest racing series in the world.
Respect for all forms of motorsport is all I ask.

All race fans should do them selves a favor and attend an F1 race.
Some of the excitement, as in any form of racing can be lost on TV due to how it is covered.
Believe me....F1 is far far far from boring in person. Set in a turn...incredible acceleration...the cool speed adjustments coming into the pits.....the rooster tails in the rain....the sounds...
If you love sprint cars I am 146% sure you would have a great time down by the track at an F1 race.

I don't like road course racing, so, I doubt it.

I've never had such an opportunity, but I would love to someday attend one in person. I feel like it would take away from my enjoyment though because I like to see action all over the track and not just what happens in one corner. But maybe not. Also, F1 racing in the rain is one of the greatest things in motorsports. Completely insane driving when there is a huge downpour!

cartwheel..that's funny. Stick around and you will find out a thread gets "hijacked" quite often on this site. Don't know how we went from the extreme of Larson driving a sprint car to road racing but it happened!

YOU'RE COLD?"

I see Kyle is driving Tony Stewart's Silver Crown car in the 4 crown @ Eldora. This should be good.
