Just like I fail to see how the Sammy - Darrah incident at Charlotte was Sammy's fault this one wasn't Allard's. With that said Sammy is at the very least a hipocrite. Or perhaps just an old man with a short memory. Or a selective one. Whatever the case his reputation as a complete asshole is intact.

I see more of Sammy's left front coming DOWN than I see Allard's RR going UP. Ofcourse, I'm old!

Karma. Looked a lot like the two wrecks in Charlotte. It was just Sammy's turn to go for a ride.

What is it if I cant see you on my right or left with my head facing forward then the line is mine . I've heard several senior sprint car drivers say that before.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

our point of view of who moved up or down doesn't matter. Allard said he did it!

Allard did move up, Sammy also had a run on him and came down. I'm not picking a side, but I will say that I can see my LF better than I can my RR!
do it in the dirt

Racing deal end of story. Even if Allard was moving up to take the outside line away from Sammy, still a racing deal. I have watched Sammy move people out of the way, chop, dirty slide and wreck other drivers since the mid 80's and some were racing deals where Sammy was overly aggressive and hoped he could get away with it, and others were flat out ego in the way mess ups on his part. That said, I do not know a single sprint car driver who intentionally tries to wreck someone else (under green flag - normal racing conditions) There is just too much money at stake, driver safety AND not many car owners will put up with intentionally wading up a race car on a regular basis. Not to defend Sammy, but I would guess most accidents where we as fans start throwing stones (pardon the pun) are the result of a poor decision in the form of an overly aggressive move.

With out a doubt Allard moved up on Sammy, he even said so. I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose because he could have went for a ride too. I don't blame Sammy for being mad, any driver would have been. I'm not an Allard fan or Sammy fan.

Not sure how many of these "keyboard racers" have ever actually raced anything. I have raced and your emotions run very high when you are on the track. I have been on the winning end and short end of the stick and have done some stupid things........while being mad.........I challenge everyone to get out in a race and see what happens and see how you feel afterwards........
Not saying Sammy is right, but your emotions do run high, and throwing a rock is minor, where I have raced folks take a tire iron or jack handle out, rather then a misely little rock.

Go back and read Allard's statement after the crash/race. He says he moved up the track and didn't see Sammy there. It was purely a racing deal.
Sure, Sammy got heated, but it's part of racing!
