would be nice if we could get up todate info from tracks out west like they do on IOW in Indiana. Most of the time there is only one track running outr there to report on. No info on Calistoga tonight, even USAC twitter has very little.

USAC/CRA has a twitter page at www.twitter.com/#!/USAC_CRA. It was updated throughout the night. I have been giving out the link for months.

USAC/CRA also has a facebook page at www.facebook.com/pages/USAC-CRA-Sprint-Car-Series/167535183297971. The officials that update that page are "hands on," working with the racers throughout the night. That page is updated ASAP with official results.

Lance, the twitter page was very little help. way behind and in the end ,after 30 min, just said who won. after inquiring they finally put up the top 5 then said if i could do better i could do it. Problem , i can;t be there . Your doing a great job and not your problem but just another problem with USAC PR and coomunications.

The scuttlebutt is that Sheridan to the 4 Car, and Faas to the 37 until Matt has recovered.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Well I work for Matt and that may be a possibilty, but it is news to me as we haven't even discussed racing the car until Matt is better. We do have a new car put together and could've raced this weekend if we had wanted too.

I can understand you concerns, but please understand this. The USAC/CRA officals that work the twitter page are also working with the midgets at Calistoga- everything from qualifying, line-ups, and the main event. There was little to no down time at this race to do it. During a normal show (and when things are running smooth) the twitter feed is updated on the spot.
Personally, I witnessed some hot tempers in the pits during most of the day. That also took time away from doing the updates and hopefully things will run better tonight.
My personal cell phone is older and cannot handle twitter or facebook, so I try to post the complete official results as soon as possible on the boards, facebook, and emails after getting back to the hotel.

like i said , you do a great job ! no reason for you to feel bad about it, it's a normal USAC thing of taking care of the fans and general public relations. Were in Florida and the race is in CA so they should understand that people from coast to coast are interested. We sat here last night until 2:30 our time to get results before going to bed...thats real fans, ha.
