Roy Pluver passed away last night he was 85 years young, Roy raced at C J Stadiam , 81 Speedway and all over Kansas & Oklahoma. Roy was one of the first members of the Kansas Antique Racers. Roy was very good at Building and setting up his Race Cars, his Drivers were Harold Leep, Grady Wade, Frankie Lies.This was the last Vintage Sprint Car Roy built. RIP Roy

This the car that I really liked, it had a Mercury Flat-Head in it the pipes ran all the way out the back. That is Ken Meyers in the photo, Harold Leep won a 200 lapper at 81 Speedway in this car it paid $500.00 to win.

Roy built the engine in my first car. What a runner it was!
