What a racetrack last night, heavy and fast. Great show by Danny Smith and Balog dicing through traffic for the lead. Good to see a large crowd on hand. 29 cars on hand which is fewer than I thought would be there but a few got tore up the previous 2 nights at Wilmot. Big thanks to Lasalle and the IRA for moving the show along as the IRA Amain finished up about 9:30.

I believe Ben Waggoner (sp) #84 was 5th & Wilson was 6th, The whole program was over a little before 10pm. Boss couldn't have sent me out there at a better time. I noticed the track itself is alot like Limaland. If it were not so tacky Wilson would have been on the high side. Side note, I know they didn't make the show but a big shout out to Kent Wolters & Cody Hewitt for making the trip. They ran Waynesfield, Oh. the night before.

My email to IRA President Steve Sinclair
I had the pleasure of attending the show at Lasalle last night and just wanted to give you and your group kudos for a great show. As I'm sure you know you guys are the only show we get in this area and I wish to pass along my gratitude to everyone who made the trip down here for our entertainment. I normally travel a few times a year up to Wisconsin to catch some racing but it is sure nice to be within an hour of my home even if it was a Sunday night. That being said I know the race teams also make sacrifices to travel here and race on a Sunday which makes me even more appreciative. Everyone I met in the pits were very professional and willing to take the time to answer my questions. IRA,MOWA, Pace Productions and LaSalle Speedway all deserve a pat on the back for an efficient and entertaining night of racing. This IRA fan really looks forward to next year.
Bring back Santa Fe, and LaSalle .

I evidently didn't know about it last year &/or didn't know it was this close to where I go for work. If this is a regular Sunday night deal I will be back also. The 1 thing I noticed is they tried to tell everybody that walked out Thank You for coming. I believe if they upped the purse a notch or 2 they would get some more cars. I noticed also that last year paid 3,000 to the winner so maybe they are doing just that.

Well By god Andy if Kent Wolters & Cody Hewitt could make it then a couple more All Stars or a Brian Brown could 2, I know McCarl was racing at Husets. I thought Kody Kinser would be there but wasn't. Jarrod Hull ? A.J.Bruns ? I did enjoy my self & met a couple nice folks that are local fans there.

29 Sprint cars of any type on any night in Northern Il is big. I was so glad to see a lot of people there to support it.
The racing was good and the track was fast.

The show this year paid $4000 to win and $400 to start. That is pretty good for the IRA and Northern IL. Once again, a fabulous show and can't wait to get back to Lasalle next year.

I think Brian Brown was racing in Missouri the other night. I imagine most of the others had to work Monday morning. Probably a few of them used up time off work for Knoxville etc.I think 29 cars is very respectable for a Sunday night in Northern Illinois where everyone has to travel in to.
How many times have Wolters and Cody traveled on a Sunday night?? Send them over to Kokomo on Sunday nights next year! Cody wont have to borrow a wing for there....

Wolters & a helper were talking about going to work Monday on little sleep. I do believe it's once in a blue moon. I plan on going out again next year also.
