It is that time of year again....time for the fans to step up and help make the 2012 Nebraska Cup the best event possible. For the last few years I've raised a lot of money that was donated to the drivers for leading laps at the NE Cup. Last year was a record year as the fans donated $2,268.00.

Would like to help, but have lots of medical bills which have also limited my travel to sprint car races as wife has to do 80% of driving.
But man oh man, what a pair of race tracks, I-80 or Nebraska Raceway or whatever it's called today and Eagle, only 15 miles apart (or less). Is there any other pair of popular dirt tracks/tracks that run great racing programs anyplace in the U.S. that close together? Especially remember one WoO race 15 years ago or so in which the support class was A Mods like our midwest Wissota mods, but it was a one-off race and the drivers/owners could put whatever they wanted in the car for power. Talk about stock car speed that night. Wheels up always on the big 4/10ths track. And they used to have two bands playing at I-80, one rock and roll, one country, playing in different spots on the grounds.
