That Knoxville is over and we can get back to talking about more important things like tall corn, the PA posse and other related topics related to billboards on farm tractors... :/
Opinions may vary...

As much as I love the hype of the Nationals, I am ready for everyone to start bashing the Posse and talk about local racing again. Not just here in PA but around the country.

Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Driving out of Knoxville today, raining for hours straight, gloomy, wet, fairgrounds quiet, empty parking lots, empty camping spots, no one on the streets or sidewalks, trash and trampled grass everywhere .... depressing. Sunday after Nationals is the most depressing day of the year.

Jamie, you are so right, heck it used to take 3 or 4 days to get over it for me. The thing that helped the most was the fact that I knew I was headed to the left Coast once I started rolling again. The drive alone from Knoxville to CA either via Sioux Falls or Kansas City was always one of the highlights of my year. Most of the time I got to stop and spend a few days in Winslow, AZ my favorite place in the country which was also a big bonus. Also, Shawny Boy McDonald former Hoser of the Year was waiting for me in CA and we used to get to The PAS and Ventura and hang out for a few weeks, my favorite time of the year.....

Heck NO. I'm ready to go back Thursday for 10 more days or racing. Best time of the year, why would any sprint car fan be glad it is over.
