Congrats to Kyle...the real deal...

But, point totals seem lower than most years. Probably because the track was so narrow the quick qualifiers in the first two heats had some issues. Well maybe even three heats. Didn't transfer. So, Donny I think fourth overall, Kyle seventh. Where will that put them tomorrow if the track is a little racier? (meaning, if guys can race, the top qualifiers are gonna transfer and earn more points) Oh, the drama of Knoxville, I love it!

Kyle is 6th. Wins and A finishes is more than qualifying this year in a tie. thats why Donny is 3rd and Joey is 4th.

Typically its taken 440 to 445 to qualify for A in years past. Now with only 16 locked in you have to figure cut will be around 450. Heskin with 449 will be close. Top 8 with McMahon at 453 are probably good to go.

Tough breaks for both Paulus and Sides who were in the show had they finished.

You are right on, points are low because of one laned early heats. Knoxville does the top 2 time trial guys no favors by making them go out in the first 2 heats.

Looks like Friday will be interesting with the King, Rahmer , Kemenah and Madsen all guaranteed to have to run.

Great win for Larson, but with his point total he will be buried deep in the A if the track is wider tonight, and you can bet it will be.
