The 1st Annual Capitani Classic kicks off tonight. The Classic is a full points race for the the Knoxville Championship Cup Series 410’s. In addition to the KCCS 410’s a strong contingent of visiting drivers will be in attendance getting valuable track time before the 52nd Nationals. The $5000 to win event also features a $1000 to win dash. The total purse for the event honoring retired Director of Racing Ralph “Cappy” Capitani is $41,425.
Join announcers Tony Bokhoven, Blake Anderson with pit reporter Jason Price for lap by lap coverage Aug 5th, beginning with Hot Laps at 7:00pm CST. The LIVE video stream is only $12.99 for the 410 Sprint Capitani Classic.
Knoxville LIVE coverage includes all the action the Capitani Classic and the preliminary nights of the 52nd Knoxville Nationals.

Great video once again. Kris was searching hard for cars to be racing each other and found some last night and I know it wasn't easy. Count me in again tonite and I truly wish I was there to simply shake Ralph's hand and thank him for all he did at Knoxville. I get a feeling there will be a very good field of drivers there this evening, well worth the charge....

How many cars do they expect for tonight?? 35-40 I'm thinking.
