If anyone has info on the car, driver, or anything about this sprinter, I would like to know. So far all I know is that is was raced in the south bay area of California, last raced in the very early 80's. Thanks

Looks to me like a Tognotti-Ferkel car from late 70's or early 80's. Wanna sell it?

Nope, I would like to restore it. since almost all of it is there, I think this would be a good one to make whole again.

My guess is the J.F. McCray plastering #21, Kenny Woodruff special. The hood looks similar to what they ran back in the day.

It's awesome you are going to restore this car. Thats what sprintcars looked like when I first started watching them at Baylands (1982). It looks like a Tognotti to me.

I believe that it has the wing that was last run which is number 98 and it was run in the baylands area. Also, I did post it on the other forum. Thanks for the help guys!

their used to be a sprintcar that sat on the roof of blooms garage on jefferson blvd, in west sac. It looks similar to that one thogh I dont remember weather if it had a wing on it. That car is no longer there. I'm sure theris plenty of people that remember seeing it. I was woundering what happened to it

You may check with some of the local old timers who raced around norther cal. Art Boune, EJ Dolner, Richard Forsberg, to name a few.

I have a very similar car from 70's frame, body, seat, several front ends lots of wheels, many parts, incl a perfect aluminum sprint car radiator from the Modine Racing Shop . I have gathered lots of parts over the years never going to get to this project. Make me a resonable offer bring a PU and trailer. Howard 209-761-1900
