Welcome to www.nwsprintcarhistory.com a Sprint Car website like no other on the internet. On this site you could spend hours looking up complete t race results from 1996-2011 of the Northern Sprint Tour, NSCS and the ASCS NW Series. You can look at Results going back to 2000 of the Jim Raper Dirt Cup, the Skagit Speedway 360 Nationals and also the Canadian Gold Cup. There are over 600 Driver Bios with many having pictures of all the cars they have driven in their career. There are All-Time stats of the continuous 360 Sprint car series that started back in 1996. You get All-Time wins, B main Wins, Heat wins, Fast Times set and Dash race wins. There are Track Champions from Oregon, Washington, Montana and Edmonton, Alberta. There are Series Champions with top ten in points and you also get event champions like the complete list of Dirt Cup Winners, Cassidy Speedway Dirt Cup Champions, and many more. Speedweek in the Northwest started back in 1998 and you get all the stats from over the 14 years of racing. All of this would have been impossible without so many great people from the northwest that love this sport. First of all if it wasn’t for Gordy Rivenburg given me a complete run of Racing Wheels from 1996-2003 I wouldn’t have been able to get those first 5 years that were not available anywhere. Fred Rannard the Announcer for the last 16 years of racing starting with the first race back in 1996 to last year. He has made the Drivers Bio’s pages the best around. Matt and Mike Streby for putting up with me asking them about every driver that raced at least one time in the series from their numbers, home towns to Car owners. Plus Mike supplying me with his books of results. Dick Wilskey who helped get me started with many articles on the history and also about the early years of the Northern Sprint Tour. Scott Murdoch for getting the many pages of info on the early years of the Dirt Cup, Skagit Speedway and any and all information on Canadian Drivers and Cassidy Speedway. Gord Craig for getting me the track champions at Castrol Speedway in Edmonton, Alberta. To all the fans of racing in the northwest who would give a tidbit hear and there on information that helped make this site complete. There is also many links to sprint car sites all over the country. Under Series/Points you will have direct links to many series and race tacks all over the country and the current point standings. You also get all the information going on in the Pacific Northwest . There will be daily articles and postings about racing going on from California all the way to Canada. You will be able to follow all the happenings by following us on face book under Northwest sprint car and also follow us on twitter. There are many links to videos, photographers that cover all the tracks. Also a very important menu link is the one that says wants and needs. For all those in the Northwest please look at that and let me know if you have any of this information and pictures of drivers. I hope you enjoy the site, please don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected] to ask any questions or give me information you have found. I’m also available for any and all interviews, podcast or radio interviews. I hope you find this site a value to the sprint car community and also in preserving the history of this great sport. There will be much more to come as this is only about 25% of what I have. You can contact me at the above email address and I will get right back to you. Again I hope you enjoy the site. Adam J.
