Mike, one of the IRA top guy's. Had a really good run going all night at the little beave(WoO) show. Solid run in the main and had a problem and pulled in. Doe's any one know what happened? Who say's the top IRA guy's can't run with the best, BULL. Nice job Mike!

man, that was devestating. he was looking at a top 5, IMO, even if he had played it safe. he definitely had a shot at winning. very smooth & fast, in control. all with a fraction of the budget of the guys he's racing against. I think I read elsewhere that he was running a very old motor too, not sure about that. from his facebook page; "Could about cry after that one. Running 4th with 14 laps left and jumped out of gear. Of course when i get cleared of the track and in the infield it goes back in. Shifter never moved so obviously something is not right. Was exciting to run 2nd to Steve Kinser and almost pass him at one point. Even Kraig Kinser came down to ask what happened and expressed how crappy it was that it happened....that about made my night. Once again, nothing wrecked but we sure coulda used that 4th place check. Great racing with CLEAN drivers too. My opinions havent been the best but those guys are awesome. On to next weekend."

I was impressed as he said in an interview that he was running a 14 year old motor. He was doing fine until he dropped out.

Congrats to Mike on his great run. Classy move by Kraig Kinser--no surprise--he's a good guy! Hope Mike keeps running strong.

Known Mike a long time, very legit guy who goes hard about every lap, 'bout time he caught a break, here's hoping he has a good run at the Nationals. Go get 'em Mikey.....

Been watching the IRA guys since mid 60's with guys like Whitey Harris, Bill Bohn, Roger "Von" Otto. I think the IRA guys biggest problem is running on bigger tracks. Most of the IRA races are on shorter tracks and they need to get more experience on those big 1/2 mile tracks like Knoxville, Eldora and the Grove. They put on a great show and they are improving when they face off with theOutlaws. I'm not surprised by Reinke's good showing but it was unfortunate that he had a mechanical porblem. They got a date with the All Stars at Wilmot in a couple of weeks and we'll see how they fare against them.

Should be a good show at Wilmot. I have been looking forward to it for quite awhile.....

Pretty impressive when a top outlaw guy "let alone the winner of the race" goes to talk to one of the locals who had mechanical problem's.

Almost didn't go but decided last minute and sure am glad I did! 6000 people cheering at one point was kind of neat!

Congrats Mike made us Badgers proud
