Arthur Henry McCarthy Sr.) September 10, 1923 – June 19, 2007 Art is preceded in death by his beloved wife Beryl of sixty years. Together they raised four children, Diana, Art Jr., Lynda and Pammelyn. He honorably served in World War II as a member of the Air Force. He loved his family and was most proud of his role as Owner/Crew Chief of the McCarthy Race Team. Art loved going to the track and was always there on his quad waiting to push the cars up to staging and talking to his friends and racing family at Petaluma Speedway. Art retired from Paul Masson Vineyards after thirty years as the plant engineer. Art is survived by his four children, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers and his beloved dogs, Buddy and Lady. He was a wonderful friend and grandpa to many. “Pappy” will be missed by all. Services held at Lima Family Milpitas Fremont Cedar Lawn Memorial Park 48800 Warm Springs Blvd Fremont Ca 94536.
