28 race cars ..... FT: Roa ..... Heat One: Bud, Brody, Markus, Netto ..... Heat Two: Faria, Kruser, Showtime, Rutherford ..... Heat Three: Little, Hamblin, Kirkbride, Carlile ..... Heat Four: Faas, Bernal, Rossi, Don Gansen ..... B Main: Johnson, Barnes, Spencer (whose car, the white #7, was =not= running right), Hendricks, Martin ..... A Main lineup: Justyne, Cory, Nick, Rusty, Bud, Rossi, Showtime, Brody, R. J., Ziehl, Don Gansen, Markus, Kirkbride, Netto, Faria, Little, Troy, Ryan, Barnes, Mikey, Hendricks, Martin ..... Cory took a couple of laps to get around Justyne and never surrendered the lead through four restarts ..... Bud ultimately got into Justyne and went into the turn two wall along with Rossi, but they all restarted ..... Showtime (whose brakes were gone by the lap 26 restart) chased Cory all the way with Faria and Bernal coming through from 15th and 18th ..... Finish order: Kruseman in Ford's #73x, Sheridan in the Kittle Kar, Bernal in Ford's #73, Faria, Roa, Johnson (the best of the four AZ cars), Rutherford, Nielmela, Faas, et al ..... Faas looked =very= strong in his heat in the #18 usually driven by Matt Mitchell, but fell back in the main ..... Two tear-ups and repacks and a pretty dry track at the end after a lot of taxicab racing ..... Good crowd; maybe 65-75% full ..... another nice job by Chris and his crew.

Actually track was very racey and provided tons of exciting action. Before some people left the attendance is put as maybe around 85% full. Really healthy grandstands for this deal. There was a sticky cushion and moisture on the bottom with a great slick middle providing a bunch of sliders. This was no run away affair for Kruser, Sheridan was side by side with him many times as one time in turn 1 Cory collided with a lapper and almost lost it but battled back. In my opinion outside of the Oval Nationals this was the most talent laden field assembled in a long time. Every car in the A main was a good contender talent wise. Just a fun, fun night at the sprint car races. I have no complaints and I really liked the track crew reworking the track when they got the chance....thank you! I haven't been that pumped up for an a main in a really long while so I definitely enjoyed myself as did the group around us. To me track conditions were just about perfect for providing racibility and still fast at the high scary side. Good times! I sincerly hope this becomes and annual deal.

the sprint cars for me!"
