Brent Kaeding to be featured guest on "KWS Tonight"

With the “Howard Kaeding Classic” on tap this week for the Cancen Oil King of the West Sprints in Watsonville “KWS Tonight” will be on the net this evening at 7pm putting a wrap on Placerville last Saturday and previewing the upcoming weekend.

To view the show log onto
http://www.kwssprints.com starting at 7pm pst on Thursday. It will then replay on the homepage to watch at your leisurely pleasure over the next week.

Last week’s winner Brent Kaeding will call-in and talk about his huge victory last Saturday at the Placerville Speedway, which was his first unlimited 410 Sprint Car win since July of 2009. The legendary racer from Campbell will also talk about his season up to this point, as he currently stands second in the KWS standings.

Our Placerville Speedway recap will include highlights from the night that featured Kaeding and Sacramento’s Kyle Hirst battle it out right down to the checkered flag. Local favorite Andy Gregg rounded out the podium in what was an entertaining 30-lapper at "Old Hangtown" & will share a glimpse at some of the hotly contested action.

This Saturday’s “Howard Kaeding Classic” will mark the second running of the event after a successful inaugural edition last year. We’ll give everyone a rundown of a closely contested point battle among the top-10 drivers, which is expected to go right down to the wire. Each position is extremely critical with the amount of money on the line at the end of the season & it's sure to bring out the best in everyone.

Don't forget about the earlier start at Ocean Speedway on Saturday with the driver meeting around 3:30pm. The front gate will also open at 3:30 & qualifying is scheduled to begin at about 5. So everything pretty much begins an hour & a half earlier than usual. Please keep this in mind.

We’ll also discuss our trip to the Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort this past Monday, where we spoke with CEO Rich Hoffman to prepare for the big three-day championship banquet weekend on November 9, 10 & 11. You can get your banquet reservations in now by contacting (707) 374-2222. To reserve hotel rooms for the weekend contact Jackson Rancheria at (800) 822-9466.

I was really happy to see BK get the win Saturday....I really thought he was going to get the win last week in Antioch until he got tangled up with the back marker. Brent has looked faster this year than he has the last couple of years.
