Yep! Is it the same car he drove in Ohio Speedweek? Looking at his website, looks like he won features consecutively in midgets, non-wing & 2 winged 410s.
We'll see... thats why they run the races, no?

Who said I was a posse fan? I'm just saying, you can't deny that the central PA 410 drivers are some of the toughest to race against in the entire country. I've been watching sprint car racing my whole life and what I see is what I believe. There many excellent sprint car drivers outside of PA. In fact, I think Tim Kaeding is the best I've witnessed in person. So don't think I'm going all posse on ya.

It's like this how many crews have an in depth notebook on the PA tracks that wrench for a Possie driver?? answer is most of them have a fat one. Correct me if I am wrong but, Kyles Crew Chief is a Non-Wing Specialist out of Indiana. I am sure his notebook is no where near what the PA teams got. I am a firm believer that a lot of races can be or are won in the pits.. He also has raced like somthing near 14 days in a row as well that could take it out of you no matter how young you are. When was the last time a PA guy Won in CA?? Fred Rhamer came to Tulare a couple of years ago BUT, and I say BUT, who's guys were helping out Rhamer? Brent Kaeding's guys helped Rhamer finish a respectable 2nd or 3rd have some respect for the kid as he is getting back to your tracks to gain experience.

So by saying it's the toughest competition why would you even make the argument that he "is not showing up"

Rico might be there, somewhere. He just caught a plane ride somewhere, wouldn't be surprised that he shows up.
|
I believe Rico will be at Placerville Speedway in California for the Wednesday July 4th Civil War race.

I can't wait to see Larson race here in a couple of days and hope he does well. I don't want to see him beat my favorite Posse drivers, but I hope he puts on a show!

How bout some of the PA teams load up and go to cali?? Race against Kyle on tracks he has ran on? Why all the nitpicking bs about this kid?? He kicks ass in different cars, he is polite, he is really good. Be thankful ya get to see him race. At least he has the balls to load up an go run against the toughest competition around.

What a stupid post. Even if they went to CA, no one should expect the world as Larson fanboys expected with him here. I don't care either way about this, but what a dumb point. This is akin to when people say "How many races have you won?" or other dumb statements, as if racing sprint cars is as simple as saying, "Hey, I want to race".

i don't really think it is the same as asking "how many races have you won?"
i don't know all the results of the ohio speedweeks so i have to ask,
how many posse drivers won more than one race in ohio?
to indy and beyond!!

Hey MW why post on something that seems to bother you so much? Do you think that there is anyone on here that knows you have a grudge against Larson?? We get it, you dont like him. And besides no one, thinking clearly, expected Larson to come into PA and dominate.
Anyone in their right mind anyways.

In general, is it safe to say the Posse has a pretty big advantage over non posse drivers based knowledge of track conditions & setups? It seems like there would be a big home court advantage. Not trying to make excuses for guys like Kyle but I would think this would be a factor.

Dang, the crowd is a little tough here. Lance Dewease a Hall of Famer to be showed up at Ohio Speedweek and in three shows had one top ten about 8th I think and a finish of 11th in the B. Hopefully this throws some more perspective into this silly attack on the next great one.....

To be fair to the Posse guys, the only tracks they really have a competitive advantage at during Speedweeks are Lincoln and the Grove.
I was actually surprised Larson and Dude didn't do better at Big Diamond, and will be very surprised if they don't do well at Grandview and Hagerstown. Given that it was the Dude's 1st night in the car, he didn't do badly, but I expected a top 5.
