Why do most of the Outlaw shows always have to re-prepare the track after the heats? No wonder the night races last till midnight. Not all tracks but most lately...

Can you say SLS promotions? Who else takes 5 hours to qualify 24 cars, run 3 heat races of 8 laps, a 6 lap dash and a 25 lap feature? 55 total racing laps! What a joke of a promotion crew this is!

5 hours huh? How many people were injured last night? Where else would you go ? You bought the ticket, you get to be surrounded by the best sprint cars in the world,I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, personally. Was the racing good or not. So much for the life of a racing fan,if you got another agenda maybe thats where you should have been.5 hours of Bellevile is much better that 10 days at Daytona in my opinion. Thanks SLS at least you support sprint car racing, some of these people would complain if you hung them with a NEW rope.On to K.C. "home of world famous Weld Racing Clan". Pay close attention folks the Kinser clan is World Famous too.Oh yeah!......macho man R.I.P.

Five hours is a joke. My time has a value and I love racing. To ask for a show to be run in an efficient manner is hardly much to ask. It sure seems that outlaw shows take too long to complete in many cases. Volusia runs them very well as do many other tracks. I have no desire to spend five hours at a track for a 30 lap feature that is run in about 8 minutes with no cautions or red flags. Jut my opinion...

Prmoters who do not respect thier fans, will have no fans. I read where it took 90 minutes to rework the track. I am glad I was not there to watch 90 minutes of farming.

My solution to this is a new law that states that any time a tractor is on the track re-working the track everything at the concession stand and the beer stand is half price. Give the promoter a reason to speed up the entire process.

They have been re-working tracks since I have been going to dirt track races, it's part of the deal for a great race!

And the 100 plus temp had nothing to do with it

They should have had the temp at about 70 they control that you know

Wish the tracks here in Pa would re-work the track after heats. You guys that get to witness this type a thing are lucky. If the tracks junk we have to watch single file huggie pole around the bottom or top races.

Pretty funny,I gotta give it to you... But,I am now at a point where if I think the event will take too long,I stay home. Too many other things to enjoy to allow an event to ruin the next day. 3 hours total travel,5-6 hour event, lousy, overpriced food,dry/slick dusty track.I used to regularly take "new" fans to the races, and almost no one wanted to go a second time. These people were gearheads, too. When I relayed this to a local track manager,in writing, he called me and berated me as being negative. So be it.... I went from being a diehard fan and competitor,to a casual spectator very quickly. Too bad, because the best friends i ever had(and still have) were made in racing. p.s. I worked for the man who made the Pittsburgh Racing Association ,and Heidelberg Raceway .He knew what it took to make a show a success. Used to start at 8:30... on the way home by 11.... on a thursday nite,or a sunday nite. Most tracks now survive on remnants of the baby boom,or thier progeny....not because the have created a new fan..... dont think it's gonna continue this way for much longer..... John S.

Ok Smart Guy What i meant to say was they either end up Single file Huggie Pole (must only be used by us Pennsyltuckians.) around the bottom or single file around the top with no passing. Understand now.
