Wondering if anyone around the Twin Cities area here can fabricate nerf bars out of stainless steel or chromoly 1". Would like to get battle bars made for the wingless sprint cars. I know I can get them through Speedway and Triple X but it is 90 dollars shipping to get them here and the bars are 89 so don't want to spend more on shipping than it is to buy one. Thanks, Jeff

you might try Butch Bethke in Oakdale and see if he might do it. Problem is I don't have his number

I'm just thinking that as more cars are out there that it's only a matter of time before the wheels start coming together and whatever I can do to keep myself or somebody else from flipping i'm all for it. I just have the shorty nerfs and that isn't much protection. I will talk to Johnny friday.
I think there is going to be some pretty good racing friday night and think we will see a new high car count for the traditionals. Gonna be fun!!
