Hayhurst was a fun guy and a very, very good racer. He had a used car business and a bunch of youngsters to raise on his own which were his top priority at the time. I also would love to know how he's doing these days.....

Gary, JC, and Jason all live in or around Evansville...none of them are racing sprint cars anymore...none of those guys are for that matter, that I'm aware off. Unfortunately, when Tri-State stopped running wings one a weekly basis, most of those guys got out of racing within the next few years after that. Maybe, Tommy will start to realize soon that wing sprint cars are making steam with MOWA around the midwest and add more dates to the schedule.

Lee Dunn has degrees in engineering and aviation management. Last I knew he was working as a pilot flying a corporate jet.

Seen Lee Dunn last year at St. Francois County Raceway's Queen's Royale. He was a spectator in the pits with his son. Wish someone would offer him a ride, he sure knew how to get around the racetrack.
