Thanks for posting these. I always watch the sprint car videos, even if I don't know who I'm watching.

Not trying to be negative or to start anything, but did I count correctly? Only 9 cars starting the A Main?

And people complain about car counts in the low to mid 20's.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too! I just watched it since it was on here. Man... 9 cars. We run Knoxville regularly and are in the mid 20's for all 3 classes, although 305's were at 16 this past weekend. Guess we should be thankful though!

Yeah only 9 sprint cars. Normally we have had anywhere between 10, to 14 on local shows We had a 2 day ASCS Northwest Region show during Memorial Day weekend which had 24 cars, on night 1, and 26 or so cars on night 2. On that weekend we lost 2 cars with motor issues, and this weekend 2 other guys went to Skagit Speedway to get ready for Dirt Cup, since that is coming up in a few weeks.

Another driver, who ended up getting upside down in the A-Main on Sunday night during the ASCS Northwest Region race, was down in Oregon running a midget at Cottage Grove Speedway.

The USRA Modified class usually has around 15 to 18, and we only had 12 or 13.

Glad you enjoy the videos.

What Aaron said. Had a few that couldn't make it this week for one reason or another.

It's tough in the Northwest. Wish it were different. Doesn't help that local owners are few and getting fewer up here. Doesn't help that local owners are funding racers elsewhere. Doesn't help that racers are looking to get out of here instead of looking to build it up. And it doesn't help that nobody can blame any of the above for their decisions.

Wish it were different.
