oh he had more than enough time, but when a spark plug wire gets knocked off and finishs the race on 7 cylinders, i dont think 4th is too bad.

I I talked to him after the races and he actually only had 1 plug wire still on. Amazing when you think about it

As far as the ford motor their building is concerned price wise, it is going to be very expensive not because of the rules but because they are building something that is pretty much a 1-off. The Chevy's are cheaper to build because it has been done thousands of times and the chevy parts are more readily available. For the Roush-Yates Ford I'm sure they are having the parts made as they build it, building a part for the first time to comply with rules is expensive, no ones disagreeing, but it doesn't mean that the rules are stupid because of that. This is the exact reason why Chevy small blocks are popular in all forms of racing, because parts are readily available and that makes them cheaper and they've been proven to hold up and be strong runners.
Take the motor rules away and KKR and TSR next year will come with motors that have 1200 HP and I'll guarantee they won't have cost them less than the motors their buying right now, and then that just means everyone else will be buying motors that are equal and spending that much more money as well so I don't buy for a second that the WoO motor rules are making the motors more expensive, its more Chevy's fault for their block being more popular and being able to make alot of power.

Wow even I have to question that one. LOL
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

2 championships... exactly 2 more than Wolfgang has
|
Wolfgang really never tried to win the WoO. If he would have I'm sure he would have won at least one.
When/who was the other one other than Bobby Davis in 89?

1989 was the year of the USA so Steve, Sammy & some of the others did not run for the WoO title. I think the only year Wolfgang actually tried to win an Outlaw championship was when he was in the Williams Payless Hardware car (orange #8D) with Duece as his crew chief. 1995 was the year Steve spent the first half of the season racing the NASCAR cup series. That made that WoO title a little easier to win.

For about 10 years if Karl Kinser (you know...the absolute best to ever walk God's earth) wasn't full time, the one and only Ford was champion.

Blaney won the driver points in 1995.
Did Luna win the owner points?
Seems to me that was the year Mark Kinser was off doing truck races or something and Karl still ended up winning the owner points once again with a Bowtie under the hood.
