With the blessing of Wilda Kindoll before her passing, the Jack Kindoll Classic has been renamed the California Hall of Fame Classic, this was done in an effort to expand the arena of Legends honored, former drivers/owners/characters that have given years of their lives to help grow sprint car racing on the west coast. Last year, Billy Wilkerson was honored during the fast time award, Walt James was recognized with the last man standing trophy dash. Jack KIndoll was the events honored namesake. Another Walt James last man standing dash is an option, it can't be done for under $1000.00. Lap money was donated by many of the fans, along with some other contributions that included highest finish in the main event by a 360 powered car. This years event will be held JULY 28th, and at this point with a late start, I have received $250.00 from All Coast Contruction and $500.00 from the Ann Wilkerson Family in Billy's memory. I'm currently in the process of my annual plea for finacial help. With that in mind, Cory Kruseman won 14 main events in the year 2001, the last race of the year was the Classic, held at the PAS, that was Cory's 14th win of the year, and he took home the trophy and SCRA Championship. The Main Event Trophy from that race will go to the highest bidder for that trophy with the money going to where ever the bidder decides it should go...(winner of the first heat, last place finisher are two examples of the many positions that can be awarded) as in years past, I'm open for any size contibution/request, I would like to see names like Jimmy Oskie, Dean Thompson, Don Blair, Bruce Bromme included in the list of former and current stars honored, that list is up to the fans that want to get involved. Every year has been a success, due 100% to the genorosity of the many fans that help out, last year we put amounts that were under $10.00 towards the purse, it all added up to well over an extra $5000.00 at the end of the night. Sorry for the long post, and a great big thank you to every one that joins us in presenting another Classic to remember/honor/recognize the California Sprint Car founders, drivers, officials, car owners, fans and racing family.

I was asked the question this morning…is there a dollar limit and can the donation be anonymous. The answer is, no limit, we know how to roll pennies, but at least put a first name to a donation so it can be kept track of, even if it is a phony name, example is, last year I received $$ from "two guys not looking for attention" …it all works. Like last year, The Ralphie Section and The Turn Four Gang will be collecting in the stands.

Randy if you'll let me live in your garage for a few day's I can come over for both the Victorville race and the California Hall of Fame Classic too, since there so close together. If you have a pool maybe I could just spend the 4th there as well. LOL
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

The pool is drained for skateboarding the house needs some paint and there's some weeds to pull . Your more than welcome . Are you really gonna drive home instead of staying for the fourth ? You know it's up hill both ways and ten feet of snow. Oh yeah and Greg is driving the short bus .
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

The winning CAR OWNER of the Hall of Fame race, July 28th, is going home with a very nice, 35 year old CRA Main Event trophy from Ascot.

Just an update, All Coast Construction has decided the $250.00 dollars they have committed to the Hall of Fame race will go to second place in the 30 lap main event, I'm still looking for help, and no one has bid on the Cory Kruseman trophy.

lets start the bidding for the Cory Kruseman trophy at $100. I sincerely hope I don't win it with a hundred, but we got to start somewhere. I will send you an email so you have my contact info Chris, take care.

Ok, since you are throwing in $100.00, I'll throw in a brand new high quaility XL 1999 non-wing world championship Tee-Shirt (first year of the non-wing tour series)...

We now have an "Aggie Award"...the winner of the Walt James Last Man Standing dash is going to pick an envelope, one of four envelops with 1-2-3 or 4 inside, the number that is inside the envelop determines what finishing position in the dash will recieve three dollar amounts of $98.00 (a total of $294.00) in honor of their historic #98 icon from the 3 Agajanian Boys. Can't thank the Aggie Boys & Family for their never ending support for the CRA family...This latest support brings the purse for the Walt James dash close to $1,500.00...there is room for more, I need help !!
