He`s responded on here before . I`m sure he will see this. Just remember, he`s getting paid to be unbias. It`s his job to remain nuetral. He can`t just rip Sammy on world-wide TV!

He is biased towards Swindell if anything. He can say that Swindell is wrecking cars left and right. It's the truth, not bias. He is doing no one a favor by completely incorrectly analyzing every situation.

Rubbin is racin. Sammy was racin. I still like the guy. And Craig is doing good tonight. The A should be a good one.

I tell it like I see it.

You need to learn the difference between rubbing and wrecking. It's not even debatable, and if you say either of the wrecks were, you're just as lost as Swindell with his reasoning in pile driving two cars in two laps.

There was no rubbing just plain stupid of sammy not to lift. He doesn't OWN this track or any other. There's a difference in a slide job and just plain not giving a shit who you take out.

My request is for Brad's contact information, if anyone has it and feels so compeled to post it, great? Or if you would rather send it via my personal inbox, i would appreciate that as well. I'd like to discuss my thoughts with Brad directly and if that isn't an option then contacting speed will survice.

Really? Guess you've never been in one, nor have you been too many Sprint Car Races. The slide job on Paul- not good! Cody, well that looked to be a racing deal, Sammy pushed up and got into Cody at the green flag. Pretty sure the only thing he (Sammy) thought he'd find was the wall, not Cody. "I could be wrong"

Thought Brad did a Great job!

Dan/Ultraline,

Your conclusion is empty. But to help you sleep better, I was Knoxville's 360 rookie of the year in 91 and after several years of wing racing, I quit driving and fielded non wing cars for many years. I’m embarrassed that I haven’t recognized your screen name as a hall of fame driving or manufacturing inductee. I did notice you sold electric ranges and I’m positive if you keep with it your name will be added to those above the entrance to Knoxville’s main grandstand.

Brad's Twitter handle is actually @braddoty18 with 2 Ds. There's been some Swindell conversation going on there since last night. One thing with Brad, he is very engaging and not afraid to interact with fans, even when they think he's wrong...

Sammy was the inside starter on a double file restart. He gassed it and went straight to the top to take the preferred line. Of course Cody was there. It's a double file restart. He's the outside runner. For Doty to say Sammy probably didn't know he was there is simply dumb. Why? BECAUSE IT WAS A DOUBLE FILE RESTART AND A GUY WAS STARTING OUTSIDE OF SAMMY. It's not rocket science. And you can hear a guy running next to you. Sammy ran him over. He knows it. Doty knows it. Everyone watching without their Sammy glasses on knows it. Both were stupid. Both showed Sammy's a dirty driver. His interview just shows how dumb this old man really is.

Memo to Brad: Whether your visions are correct or not,to me it really doesn't matter. I appreciate very thing that you say in relationship to the shows on t.v. and your commentary. You do add a great compassionate feeling about the drivers and people associated with this sport we all do love. I have a little fun on here from time to time as many people do,but it would be hard to replace your passion for what you do is in your voice,it is a spur of the moment thing as I say and be you right or wrong it doesn't matter,I'm just very grateful we have your knowledge ,insight, and experience from your years of making it all entertaining us as a driver and now commentator .So people with their own opinions is okay but I have mine and don't know of anyone who really doesn't like your commentary ,all being said most peoples frustrations are due to their own exuberance of cheering for someone who isn't exactly an angel or a saint behind behind the wheel,if that were so it would really be boring. So many thanks Brad, keep up the good work.

This is exactly why I'm not an announcer anywhere because I know that some where during the night whether it is some bonehead or a flat out exciting event I would add way too much COLOR COMMENTARY. We are human beings & ARE NOT PERFECT 100% of the time. I am close at 99.9%WinkWinkWink.

I don't understand why so many are bashing Brad Doty over one comment. The man had been there and done that and he is one of the top sprint car drivers of all time. That's why he's in the HOF. Brad may not make the right call every time but I'd rather listen to Brad Doty comment on sprint car racing than any one else. Can you name someone who has done more for sprint car racing and is a better announcer???

Keep up the good work Brad, I appreciate it!

So a double file restart guarantees the outside second row driver is automatically on the outside front row driver's rear bumper ? That's strange there doesnt seem to be anything behind Lynch jr. on the restart. You really think any driver would intentionally make a move up the track like that knowing there was another car there that usually takes boith cars out ? Might want to be careful with the word dumb.

coming in for the start cody was right behind lynch.

when sammy started coming up the track there looked to be a little less than a car length between cody and lynch.

we can all debate what sammy did, but to say there was nothing behind lynch is just not factual.

lynch got a bit of a jump on sammy on the restart and cody's front wing was right beside sammy as sammy came up the track. if sammy didn't see cody, he had to have been able to hear him.

anyway, if there was no one behind lynch as you say, then how come cody got hit when sammy slid up right behind lynch?

to indy and beyond!!
