Kinser has stopped the POSSE at the Grove. Finally Kinser gets a win and it is against the toughest drivers around. Good job!!!

Kinser has won the Morgan Cup also. The Outlaws have finally held up to their name.

Didn't WoO also win the 2nd night main and Morgan cup last year? Thought Myers and Sides won them.

Congrats to Steve, looks like the legends for both sides decided to end their losing streak this weekend. He may have gotten the win for the Outlaws, but just 2 card carrying members in the top 13 again tonight? 7 card carrying members in the top 10 all three nights combined out of 30 drivers? It's still a fun rivalry, but I thought the idea of the WoO was to go into a Home track and dominate as the best of the best, not just have 2-3 competitive cars an evening out of 50.

Yes Meyers did win the second night but I don't know about Sides. Before Meyers won I believe the Posse had won 9 in a row.

Sides did win the Morgan Cup last year. Wasn't pulling for him, but wasn't necessarily against him either last night. More than a few of us sitting in the stands wondered what he'd say about the WoO if he got the chance to on the front stretch...

Where did Lasoski finish tonight? They were giving updates at Knoxville. Said he won the dash and was starting on the pole. Also said Schatz wrecked out but didn't say if anyone wrecked with him. Only updates they gave other than Steve winning.

Had a very solid 3rd place run and would have gotten 2nd as he passed Hodnett, but Schatz flipped on the same lap and they reverted back to the previous lap and single file restart.

Danny was real strong. Went out last in time trials, got a top 5. Won his heat, won the dash, started on the pole in the "A", dropped back as far as fourth, then charged up to second but it was wiped out by the Schatz flip. A real SOLID night for the Dude.

Track was garbage. Nose to tail putt-putt affair around the bottom early in the feature. Williams Grove and the WRG should be ashamed of that joke of a racetrack last night.

Rubber down conditions from lap 8 onward....hugging the bottom, Hodnett tried the high groove ad tucked back in as Kinser hit lapped traffic...but then Sammy blew a left rear and slowed to get a work area caution. Rejoined the bak. Green double file restart, Schatz gave the top of 3-4 a try as he was rinning deep in the pack all night...but he lost traction and clipped the fence, flipping the car for an open red, tires cooled down for the single file restart and they ran single file hot lap to the flags. Te only car passing in the lat segment was Double D in the 48 who had nursed a leaking right rear to the red and on thru the end of the race, passing cars to finish in the top 10 - running into 3-4 just above the rubber dwn cars and taking the spot on the exit of 4. The only thing worse than the thirty lap race conitions was the additional 12 hot laps they call a Moran cup...same scenario as last year...fils spreads out, around the bottom while fans look at each other wondering why this race is even being run? Kinser could not be been more bored in the moran cup victory lane as he seemed to agree with fans on the insignificance of the late night hot lap session. A few outlaws covered ther expenses ths week...
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH

Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

The highlight of the evening, for me, was watching a portion of time trials while standing next to Hogneck...Other than that, it'll take me a month to relocate the cow palace in the GPS... frown

Ok, just for the sake of conversation, Steve Kinser was DQ'd for being illegal. (Lets say he was using a disguised Hoosier RR) What would this post look like now that Hodnet won? Just askin'.

As far as earlier posts this week about the WoO having their collective A$$es handed to them at the Grove, please disregard.

I follow the Outlaws for every race, as much so as PA anyway, every time they run. Fact is, the winner last night stated he wasn't sure he could pass a lapped car, certainly didn't want to have to move up and find out. I get what your saying, but I don't think this is a cheerleading session for PA, just stating the fact. Kinser got low, out front, and cruised from there while he and everyone else running behind him tested out their brakes at each end of the track for the duration. Rubber down around the bottom, it happens, just not very often during a local show, which is why I'll be back soon at $15 a pop instead of $30-$35. Still don't understand the WoO track conditions, I'm all in favor of a slick wide track where the top and bottom work, but you usually only get that night one. The 2nd night has been junk, other than in September where the cooler temps bring the moisture up throughout the night regardless.

No disrespect to Kinser, winner is the winner and Hodnett said it best. Hopefully, had Hodnett been the one that jumped to the bottom in front, they're wouldn't have been too much cheering for that either. At that point you maintain and as long as you don't get run into or break, you'll win. Thursday night Danny Dietrich went from 7th to take the lead, Friday night was a 5 car battle for the lead until Sides got into (put into? - couldnt see what happened from where I was at) the wall. Those were racy tracks - Lincoln not so much the 2nd half. Last night wasn't. It happens, but when I got home and read WoO live updates, I can promise you those fans pound chests as hard as those from PA. The way it should be, passion's a good thing, good for the sport. Hopefully the guys in Ohio, CA, etc.. can beat the Outlaws and bring recognition to the sport, seems to me one of the best way to get sprint cars in the racing headlines is to have the Pro's beaten by locals.

It is nice to see steve can still win. Cause sammy can. It would be nice to see one more good point
battle before both of these drivers call it quits.

Congrats to the King on a PA win! When Sammy and Steve do decide to call it quits, sprint racing will never be the same. Lets enjoy them while we can.

The difference between the King's win and Fast Freddie's win...Rahmer raced to a win and the King rode to one... wink
