It looks like the WoO better come up with some more rules to slow the cars down. I think central PA had a 312 engine limit at one time. Maybe that would work. These lap times within 3 seconds of 10 and 12 year old track records must be scaring their regulars.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Well goddamn, they better put a Ford in there!

I heard Randy Martin and Jason Johnson eclipsed 13.5 at Knoxville a few weeks ago, but it was hotlaps and it didn't count.

There is relative speed and power, and minthess just doesn't care to understand that, at all.

Let him bitch.

Mindless who cares about track records other than you? From what I've seen the faster they go the less passing there is. Why don't you and your old man bring back the Claytwister and show them how it's done since you have all the answers. If you can hook you mouth up to you should gain another 50 HP.

A 13.5 @ Knoxville? H*ll the 410 C.I. record is 14.407 back a few years ago.

Those 360 C.I. motors don't run that fast around that place.

Kind of funny since all these rules there have been more 410s than 358s several nights this year already. Especially since the 358s opened their engine rules up. The more you unhook the cars, the more cars you get, the better the racing. Pretty simple equation, even MOST simpletons can understand.

That was before the Roush Yates Ford came on the scene though.

If those Roush Yates Ford's are half as powerful as Minty thinks they are a 360 should easily break into the 13 sec bracket.

It's really a shame that you can't hear sarcasm through text.

I used to work with a guy that was going to do that and he kept trying to convince me of giving it a try after my divorce. I kept having visions of dying in my sleep because of violating some obscure cultural taboos. Cubic...sleep with one eye open, buddy lol...

Did TripleX start their certified welder mail order bride arm of their business yet? There haven't been too many traitors harping about them yet, which is surprising.

All of the people who only want to see Sprint Cars on dry slick tracks should just get it over with; pool their money and build a track made of polished concrete.

No reason to "harp" about them. It's simple, they are winning races, enough said.....Now lets see who does the harping...

most fans complain if the track is to dry, not to wet. a real wet track means 1 lane driving till track dries out. I think most drivers and fans like a medium track. the problem is it is very hard for track maint. people to get it just right. Why would anyone go to a 312 engine rule, they already have 360 rule engines. I think the 410 engines will always be and fans and drivers will bitch about the track.

I think most people want a balanced track. Attica for this year's spring nationals is the perfect example. The surface was perfect both nights and produced awesome racing. A good example of a track that's too heavy would have been mercer from this past weekend.

Trust me, they all DON'T look like the ones in the ads.

However, I will say that 3 of the most beautiful women I've met personally were Fillipinos.
