Breaking news: Syndicated Television Travel program "Two Wheel Oklahoma" to cover the upcoming competition road racing action at Round #4 of the CMRA 2012 Points Championships at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit May 18-20, 2012.
News from the Two Wheel Oklahoma program director Brad Mathison: "Two Wheel Oklahoma has finally gone national. We have been picked up by Tuff TV and two other networks in other countries. And that must have sparked something, because now a couple other networks have been calling."
Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association has a long history of developing World championship level racers including World Moto GP Champion Nicky Hayden, AMA Pro Roadracing Daytona Sport Bike two time National Champion Danny Eslick from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, former World Champion Kevin Schwantz, and current Moto GP riders Ben Spies, and Collin Edwards, former AMA Champion Sapulpa Oklahoma's Sam McDonald, Oklahoma's Triumph factory sponsored Dustin Dominguez from Newwalla, Oklahoma, and a long list of professional motorcycle roadracers.
Friday May 18: CMRA Member Track Day and CMRA License School
Saturday May 19: Mini Sprint Races / 2 HR Mini Endurance / 5 HR Big Bike Team Endurance
Sunday May 20: Full day of 19 CMRA Sprint Races
Exciting Motorcycle Road Racing at Oklahoma's premier Road Racing venue. More than just a racetrack, this is the home track of Oklahoma born Road Racers Danny Eslick, Dane Westby, Cory West who all three finished on the podium at Barber at the AMA Pro Road Racing event in June. And home track to Dustin Dominguez, Conner Blevins and a long list of other Oklahoma, Arkansas and southern Kansas based racers.
Hallett is the "Happening." place to be in NE Oklahoma for pavement racing enthusiasts. . HMRCR is complete with overnight camping, showers, kids playground, Finish Line Cafe on property, nearby lodging, an assortment of restaurants including the famous Click's Steak House, Hickory House BBQ, and Freddie's Steak House on nearby Keystone lake. You can tell you are in race country as the Gas Pumps at the track sell Sunoco Race Fuel! May want to bring your fishing pole to try your luck in one of the ponds on the property.
Come hang out with hundreds of the motorcycle race family, always some great bench racing at the racers pits, and in the Air Conditioned Finish Line Cafe with a great view of the front straight.
