Having younger kids now, the option of seeing a race in the infield has it made it much easier to attend races.
Besides the Grove, Lincoln and Port Royal, are there any other tracks on the east coast that have fan/specator infields?

Thanks for the Sellinsgrove tip. I thought there would some tracks in New York that would have infields as there are a ton of em'.
For the midwest, Winchester & Salem both have nice infields. Nothing with fan infields in the West Coast as I remember.

I'm asking purely from the side that I've never watched a race from the infield, but does letting spectators into the infield pose any more of a risk to that spectator than sitting in the grandstand on the other side of the track? Maybe its safer, I just wanted to know what someones thoughts were that have been around it.

There are no tracks in NY that allow fans in the infield. Selinsgrove, Williams Grove, Lincoln, and I believe Port Royal allow it.

Several years ago Port Royal moved the pit area for all their divisions to the outside of turn 4. So as a spectator in the infield, you get a great view all the way around the high speed half mile. I really hope that someday Williams Grove decides to move their pit area to another location as their infield area is also a great place to take in the night's action with your family and friends as long as you do not mind not being able to view the front stretch. ........Daniel A.
