Kyle Larson stats for the weekend; Friday win, Saturday 2nd (Usac national midgets) and Sunday win (Kokomo non wing sprint).

We need someone to put this kid in a car for the Knoxville Nationals and the Little 500 (Anderson).

Can't wait for The Thunderbowl next weekend, two days of Larson vs. TK in a 410 winged sprintcar. Both drivers dominate that joint, with Kyle getting the better of TK the past few years there.

How come you didn't mention other stats....like outlaw show in Chico, spun twice on his own in heat then crashed all by himself in A MAIN....360 show in Chico , 2nd first night and not in top 5 sat night( against local Chico 360 guys. ). ETC...NOT BASHING HIM, all I'm saying is so far this year he hasn't done a thing in a 360 or 410 winged sprintcar so what makes him so worthy of a ride at the Knoxville nationals? Just a question so all you Larson fans try not to get to mad please....last I remembered Knoxville nationals is a winged 410 race not a midget or non wing race...now the little 500 race hell yeah he should get a ride....

2nd at Chico Friday night show, and 4th at KWS opener from the back after an opening lap altercation.

I really wonder just what it is that motivates the ignorant few who doubt Kyle Larsons abilities. You state incorrectly that "...so far this year he hasn't done a thing in a 360 or 410 winged sprintcar...". Let's see by my count he has raced in somewhere near or more than 25 main events since Jan 2012. The classes raced are winged 410s and 360s, midgets, non wing 410s and asphalt late models. He went to Tulsa and won his prelim night then followed it up with a 3rd in the big show. He then went to Australia and got a 2nd plus from reading the personal accounts of those in attendance put on some of the greatest drives through the field that many had ever witnessed. Regardless of the end result people took notice. I will spare the rest of his 2012 exploits as it rather long and successful. He has a website where any semi able minded individual can see his exact results and inform themselves so they don't look like a dipshit spewing false info about him.
Cheers!

He raced to 2nd in the Kings Challenge at my local track here in Mount Gambier, Australia and I think he may have transferred from the B-main, THAT KID IS A FREAK!! his drive made some of the best look silly. I for 1 hope he graces our shores and track again.

So you still didn't really answer the question... What winged races has he WON? So how is that stating incorrectly ....ps... No where in this post I doubted his ability , I was just asking a question from an earlier post based on facts...

Kyle has run about 30 races this year and won 6. One race had 4 cars and a couple of the stock cars

wins he beat a 14 year old. We all know he's a real talent and we are watching his career with the

thought he will make it all the way to NASCAR's elite division. Last year he had alot of things go his

way and combined with his abilities had one of the greatest years in open wheel history. This year he hasn't been so lucky and the overall results haven't been there. He has been improving in the stock

car & thats all that really matters at this point. I have heard he is planning on running the Knoxville Nationals.

If you think the 2010 King of California and 2011 Gold Cup winner doesn't belong in the Knoxville Nationals, you're trolling hard...

I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and IM NOT saying anyone in this froum is bashing, but it absolutely blows my mind when Sprint Car fans tear down and bash drivers who are bringing attention to the sport. One of the many complaints you see on this board is frustration about the lack of Sprint Car races on television and even the lack of highlights.

Last year alone Kyle Larson brought a whirlwind of coverage to the sport by a remarkable year that he had, and people have the audacity to chastise him for 'a lack of talent' or not performing this year. I'm impartial to him, but like I said, he's bringing media to the sport and people find the need to tear him down.

Sorry to say, but you can't have your cake and eat it to. Why not try to build up the sport that everyone is so passionate about instead of tearing each other down?

" I have heard he is planning on running the Knoxville Nationals." Woohoo! Now I REALLY want to go.

I'd pay to see him race anything but NASCAR (But I might watch on the tube...)

Trolling hard really dude..... 1) if Jonathon Allard didn't leave that year to go to Knoxville early I really doubt he would have won cause Jonathon had like a 50+ point lead and the only other competition was Brent who unfortunately only won one 360 race that year...2) there wasn't a Gold Cup last year it was two one night outlaw shows which he won starting on the poll of a locked down no passing race track....Peterson media, I agree with you no matter of opinions it brings great attention to the sport of sprintcar racing and we need this to help the sport grow...look I like Kyle and yes some races he has driven I wish I had on tape , all I'm saying is Knoxville is TOUGH and he has never driven there , and as laudarevsonhunt states he has run 30 races this year and won 6, but like I said Non of them have been in a winged car, which like I said Knoxville is a 410'WINGED sprintcar race...I'm not saying he doesnt belong there and im not sayin he couldn't run good there but lets not have him winning the race before he even runs there....

I felt the same way you did about the GC 2nd night, track was narrow and very lil passing. However, he drove 40 solid laps and got it done. But, 2 nights later, he came from deep in the pack and almost won the WoO show at Antioch, and probably should have. Only break there was one that didn't go his way, which was rare for him. Made a believer of some i know who were not convinced until that drive. He has definitely got his share of breaks, but he has also had some very impressive drives in a winged car, a few i have witnessed first hand. Not sure anyone here ever said he would win Knoxville, but that it would be great to see him compete there. Id like to see it, at least once.

To say the Larson fans talk him up before a race is an undertstatement. STN and Chili bowl are the biggest examples. His biggest down fall is his over hyped fan section.

so all this animosity towards kyle stems from the fact that he has energetic fans?

really?

you can't stand the fact that kyle has people who have faith in his abilities and who support him?

you can't handle a little exuberance by some fans who are proud that someone from their sport is making a name for themselves?

really? it all boils down to the fact that the kid is getting a little hype?

damn dude, i always thought you were screwed up but i never pegged you for being that shallow.
