Now thats a tough call on friday night. You know what you're going to get at watsonville. Lots of action and plenty of passing. Great food, great track, great entertainment for 17 bucks. Now on the other hand... Merced??? You don't know what you're.going to get for 40 bucks. How is the new track going to be? Is there going to be any passing or is it follow the leader? Last year the race was good, but the food line was a joke. Rec.eatting before you go. I wish Ocean would have had there opener next friday. Think it will devide the car count and the fans unforationatly. I'll be headed to Merced because it's closer to home.

Ocean for me on Friday, Calistoga on Saturday. The Watsonville race is only 15 minutes from my house and alot cheaper, so it's a no brainer for me. Saturday at Calistoga is what I've been waiting for all off season. I love that place.

I did like the Merced WoO race last year, but I will save money on gas, pit passes and be fresh for the beautiful drive up through wine country the next morning.

Some of the Watsonville teams are going to race Kings on Saturday after Friday at Ocean. Hanford is my backup plan if there's a rainout at Calistoga.

With Placerville, Roseville, Stoctkton, and Calistoga all raining out or postponing their races, I think I'm going to go to the only non-rained out race today and the one that has been on my schedule since december, the Fred Gerhardt Classic at Madera

I'm geting ready to drive to Kings Speedway, in a few hours, for some great sprintcar action tonight. I always enjoy watching races @ kings. It always brings back memories of going there as a kid. In the late 80s/early 90's, Kings and San Jose Speedways were always the toughest places for a driver to win with great shows. I'm glad Scott has brought back the Rebel cup sprints to Hanford. San Jose sprints have already moved their Sprintcar class to Ocean and have taken over the top spot for toughest weekly track to win at in Calif. Kings should not be far behind.

Watch yourself, speak too highly of Ocean Speedway and a lil troll poster named something Danner will start calling you out on every thread you reference to it, even though its true. Just saying.
