On Saturday February 25, Ventura Raceway will hold an open
practice session for all competitors planning on competing at its Ventura
County Fairgrounds Facility in 2012.Pits will open at 12 Noon.This
will be the final practice session before The new season begins on March 3 with
a full program of VRA Sprints, Senior Sprints, VRA Dwarf Cars, Sport Compacts,
Junior Midgets and Mini Dwarf Cars.
The tentative
format for the event will be:
12 NoonPits
Open and Tech Sessions Begin: All participants will have their vehicles go through tech prior to going onto the track.
12:30-1:00 Kids
Classes and Go Kart Practice
1:00-3:30Tune
and Test sessions with one or two cars on track at a time
3:45Drivers
Meeting/Track Prep
4:00-9:00Practice
in sessions of like vehicles.Order to
be determined on the day of the event based upon vehicle count.
