It has been pretty quite on here so lets talk about the Elko UMSS opener? How many car are people thinking will show up in each class? Will the weather work out for us with how nice the winter has been? Who's drive for who? Who has new designs for 2012? How many rookie will be in the 360 class this year? Come on let's talk some race, beings it is only like two months away.

Yeah, this has been quiet.
Hey, I still am looking for a 360 sprint car ride. It can be one time, part time or full time ride.
To everyone, good luck and have a safe and fun racing season!

Hi Chris,
Hopefully, we can get a nice car count to start the year out. I plan on opening my season on Saturday night down there. Hard to pass up a race that is only 20 minutes from my house. I am optimistic that the weather will allow the show to happen. The UMSS put on an awesome show there in October and I am sure it will happen again in April.
I wish I could paint my car but don't have the budget so instead I bought some red colored wings to change things up for my appearance. Going to order the stickers up tomorrow. We are going to start assemblying the car soon. I would have done it sooner but I am studying to take the Customs broker's test. That will be over in early Arpil and then it is full throttle into racing.
I plan on running the majority of the UMSS series in 2012. I just hope to improve a little bit each time I race. Now that I have my first year jitters out of the way I can focus on improvement. I look forward to racing at CLS again. Hopefully, I do a little bit better then the last two times I was there.
Can't wait to go racing and Elko Speedway is a great place to kick off the season.
Are you going to run the full UMSS schedule or what are your plans for this year?

The Elko races seem to average in the 25-30 range so I would look for somewhere around those numbers. The board usually gets more traffic when the season gets underway.
