-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Oxnard, CA. 2-13-12) On Saturday February 18, Ventura Raceway will hold an open practice session for all competitors planning on competing at its Ventura County Fairgrounds Facility in 2012. Pits will open at 12 Noon. For teams wishing to register their cars and pay membership fees, this will be the final day to receive the $25.00 discount on membership fees.

The tentative format for the event will be:
12 Noon Pits Open and Tech Sessions Begin: All participants will have their vehicles go through tech prior to going onto the track. 1:00-3:30: Tune and Test sessions with one car on track at a time 3:45 Drivers Meeting/Track Prep 4:00-9:00: Practice in sessions of like vehicles. Order to be determined on the day of the event based upon vehicle count. Admission Prices Adult Pit Pass: $35.00 Child Class Pit Pass: 20.00 Grandstand Spectators: Free This is the first of two planned practice sessions for the upcoming season which will begin on March 3.
