On the final day of the contest, a flurry of entries were received before Stan M waved the double checkers at midnight on Friday evening February 3 to officially signal the end of the running of the 13th Annual GRP Racing Trivia Contest at the mythical MDTR Speedway. There is a lot of information and action to cover, as we saw a last lap pass for the win in the late model division and some close calls in the other classes. Here we go race fans, buckle your seat belts and start rubbing your eyes.

As Stan M threw the final checkered flag on the 13th edition of this winter event, the fans filed out having witnessed some exciting action on the hgih banks of MDTR Speedway this season during the contest. Congrats to all of the champions! Thanks to all of the photographers that allow me to use their photos! A HUGE thanks to Stan Meissner for hosting the contest on his Minnesota Dirt Track Racing website since its inception 13 years ago. Without his efforts, this would not be possible. We'll see you again at the track come next January when the 14th version gets underway. Safe travels and here's hoping everyone has a GREAT 2012 racing season!
