Wow, I was thinking about how cool it would be to get to work in racing, so I checked out the World of Outlaws employment opportunities and they're looking for a two-person team to run the Outlaw merchandise rig.
This is the job requirement information that I just copy pasted from the site. What an awesome gig!
Merchandise Team (World of Outlaws Sprint Series)
We're looking for a talented and energetic 2-person team for our World of Outlaws Sprint Series Merchandise rig.
Some important notes: * Full-time, year-round role * Over-the-road during racing season following the WoO Sprint Series schedule * Housing provided during the season in a toter * These positions sell, inventory, track and update approved WoO merchandise * These positions ensure accurate financial records and receipts * These positions mail online orders or other items as needed * These positions are responsible for driving the merchandise rig to and from each event
The 2-person team should: * Have at least 3 years previous customer service and/or retail experience * Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Excel * Possess a valid Driver's License (CDL preferred) * Preferably at least one person on the team have experience operating and maintaining a large vehicle * Possess or be able to obtain a passport to enter/exit Canada with the rig * Be able to maintain a positive demeanor, even in highly stressful or demanding situations * Be dependable, honest and willing to take ownership of a situation
Must include salary requirements for consideration
Both members of the team should apply at the same time. You can check it out at WRGjobs.com if you're interested and wanted to apply. It sounds like a pretty awesome deal, so I figured I'd share it with my fellow sprint car fans. Hopefully somebody jumps on it!

If it was such a "great" job as they say,how come they have been through so many workers in that merch trailer over the past years, has been different people running it every year,so it must not be as good a job as they make it out to be! lmao

Now, I remember why I watched "Circus Boy" and Lassie when I was growing up way, way, long ago.Maybe you can get off food stamps after all but this Medicare deal is tough,I had my ear taken out due to a "c" cyst and now everything just goes in one ear and out the other.....,hey,anybody in Canada want to buy a rig full of shirts, yeah, cheap, how does 2 grand sound?Yeah I'll throw in the credit card too,and this thing is so easy to hide, there is enough dirt on the roof to start a garden.
