I agree Blundy Fan; thank you so much for putting this together and posting it!!!
The good old days when it wasn't cookie cutter cars. Sure miss those days.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

Many thanks from me for all the photos/clips you've posted in the past. My dad took the family to our first race in 1953 or 54. Much as I enjoy today's cars/drivers, there was something special about the cars/drivers back then. Many of the cars were built in somebody's garage and sported their individuality at every turn. Someone would try something new and succeed or fail. If it didn't work, they'd try something new the next week. If it did, it wouldn't be long until someone else figured our something better. Today, changes result in such small changes in performance, it doesn't seem like there's any difference between cars (assuming they spent the same number of $). Good to watch the old clips and look at the photos even if I don't recognize many of the cars and drivers.
