Seems kinda strange to go for ROTY while missing 15 races, won't that pretty much axe his chances of making it?
Maybe they'll let him keep driving it if he does well...

I don't claim to be an expert but I believe for ROY in the NASCAR Nationwide only the top 16 race finishes per driver are used to tally the points to determine the winner of that award. Running more than 16 races allows a driver to drop some of his worst finishes, so they aren't used to calculate the total 16 race points toward the ROY honor.

Watch for Cole Whitt to be named the driver of the 88 and be a teammate to Danica.

So with Sweet running Nationwide, and Darrah out of Great Clips sponsorship, what is going on with KKR other than Saldana?

Nevermind.
via KKR:
Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) announced today that longtime sponsor, Great Clips Inc., will back Joey Saldana for the 2012 World of Outlaws season. Great Clips Inc. has been a sponsor of KKR for the past two seasons on the #91 car with drivers Cody Darrah and Paul McMahan. In 2012, they will be a primary sponsor on the #9 entry with Saldana as well as an associate sponsor on Brad Sweet’s #49 and Cody Darrah’s #5 World of Outlaws cars.
