Great pics! I have never met a nicer man than Steve Smith Sr.! Always has time for his fans or anybody's fans in general. I remember him being on the Grove's backstretch grandstand talking to fans before an Outlaw show years ago. It was probably not long after he retired or right before he retired. I know it was about 15 years ago.
I took a couple of pics of both standing in front of the RAACE #19 Stevie was running about fours ago at Port Royal. It was the DREAM race and when I asked them to stand together for the pic, they were both for it!!! Extremely friendly!
I hope Stevie has a year just like all the other years in the #19 whether it was the Ingersoll-Rand car with the Outlaws or Creasy Signs/Leiby's car here in Central PA! And definitely, I'll be buying a new t-shirt immediately!

Gotta love it when teams go back retro of days gone by. Can never get enough of the old photos.
Now if only the cost to field the cars of our favorite sport would go back to those of the older days as well.

You could see he was gonna be an above average driver first time out in a 410.
Still true today!!
