OkC, Wayne had a car for OkC and a car for Lawton. He was the King until Leep showed up.

I only went to maybe 15 OKC races back then, T-Town and Muskogee was my stomping grounds. I has some super 8 footage of the 1973 (I think...) NCRA Nationals at Enid!

When did they call Darrell the "Chewing Gum Kid?" hahahaha That's an awesome picture, you barely ever see stuff of him around. Brian can you email me that? I'd like the show it to his grandson. (I can't right click and save-as on here) My e-mails [email protected].

I was a tot in the grandstands at Enid that year. It was cold as hell! How do I get a copy of your film?

Good Stuff, Cheese, I need to get you some scans of your dad in the Champ Dirt Cars back in the early 80's got some at Hutch Nat. and your Grandpa in his super in the late 70's. I think got a real good pic of him in the pit area at Lawton in the black 61 that is in the above pic.

That's awesome. I have no idea what car it was from. I think he only had 1 or 2 red cars, so my guess is one of those haha. I'm only 21 so I don't remember the olden days, but I am really interested in them. If you are willing to part with that hood, I'm betting my family would love to have it. It would make a really good fathers day present for him.

And JD you should def. get those on here.

I'm not sure, but I think that may have been on a mid-eighties Nance. Jeff Garnett bought one from Earnest I believe and that hood under it looks like Bob Garnetts old hood.
