Currently in the process of moving offices and getting ready for the promoters workshop, “KWS Tonight” this week showcases a classic episode featuring two-time Golden State 410 champion Jonathan Allard. The show is now playing on the homepage of http://www.kwssprints.com
The Chico, California native discusses his racing background and gives people a little more insight on his career, which has taken off since hooking up with car owners Morrie & Katie Williams in 2005. The episode was filmed on April 13 of this year.
In 2011 Allard finished his seventh season behind the wheel of the familiar No. 0 sprint car that is tuned by long-time crew chief Ashley Smith. It was highlighted by his third career Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup victory at the Skagit Speedway, which was worth $40,000.
Allard also claimed four wins with the King of the West 410 Series, including the season-ending Cotton Classic and then capped the California year by earning a very close runner up finish at the Trophy Cup in Tulare. The veteran also tallied a win at Western Springs Speedway in New Zealand on November 5 and scored a runner up to Donny Schatz last weekend at the track.
