Sitting home today watching football, it feels like Thanksgiving. Stuffed with racing after that feast at the Ovals. For dessert yesterday we had the announcement that The Outlaws would be coming to the PAS in march. Now that I am a card carrying wingnut, am looking forward to seeing the WOO. Also to the King of The West series new season.

WOO at the PAS big deal. World of Outlaws in their modified sprintcars going around Perris in single file. No passing. Just a Freight train going around the track creating a cyclone of dust. SCS

Wow, I wonder what it will be like to have the stands all to yourself.

Uh oh. Seems the Luddites have woken up from their Rip Van Winkle torpor to battle windmills again.

Well, it's been a while, but the way I remember it, the WOO shows at the PAS were pretty good races, not the single file stuff. My bet is that it won't be won from the front two rows.

The WoO show I saw at the PAS was a parade with Donny Schatz providing the only passing and King Kinser taking himself out late in the race to give up the win.

The late model support show blew away the WoO for racing but not speed.

The track was super heavy after several rain storms and that didnt help at all. It was also an early season non points race if I remember correctly which hurt car count with several of the big hitters not coming into town.

If this is a points race, I would have to think that the racing would be more aggressive with a bigger car count. I'm willing to give it another go, there are plenty of less fun things I could be doing than hanging out at the race track.

I was always a non-wing advocate until I went to the Trophy Cup @ Tulare. That race is annually one of the best sprint car in California. I agree with the eralier post about supporting the PAS. I suggest all of us non-wing fans buy a ticket and support our track.

Hey bentaxle, your rite. why sit and twiddle your thumbs when you could be at a sprint car race. Im not a big wing fan but i would go to support sprint car racing and the pas. way better than sitting at home watching Opra.
