Can the PAS state what the plan is for Friday if inclement weather hits and there ticket policy if you buy the 3 day ticket (and they don't run Friday portion). Would they run on Saturday afternoon?

It was quite a few years ago that it started raining on the Friday night of the Oval Nationals. They finished that show up on Saturday and then commenced with the Saturday show. The fans that came on Saturday only really got their money's worth of racing. This looks like a completely different situation though.

Kinda wished "PAS" would of responded by now ![frown](/images/Main/mad2_100x100.gif)
I know they can not control the weather, but they can control how they respond to it.
It would be nice to know they have a plan. Last I checked it said 90% chance of rain at 6pm on Friday. If I lived close by, I could just show up on a whim. But I live over 100 miles away so no last minute rush to the track especially on a Friday. I'll try to make it out tomorrow night and possibly Saturday.

I have no idea how many fans already hold the three day voucher. I know that I would be paying a premium price but I would be willing to exchange the Friday ticket if a rain out occurs for a November 15th ticket. Would this be an acceptable alternative for Perris management and the fans?

On FB they say that:
In the event of rain Friday. If part of Friday's show is rained out, the remainder will be run on Saturday before the regular show. If Friday entirely rained out, decision will be made today/tonight on whether to run it early Saturday or Sunday
Per The PAS

Thanks for the info
I got a feeling they will get in Friday's races, the forecast keeps changing (only 30% to 40% chance of showers). This weather forecast for the weekend sucks for the promoter, fans and racers. Friday and Sunday could be iffy.
I really hope they don't run Sunday, as I know the PAS has many visitors from around the country who have airline reservations that are not easily changed. But let's hope we get 3 good nights of racing , and at worst we will have two great nights racing (maybe cramned with 3 nights of action ![wink](/images/Main/wink_100x100.gif)
(With all things considered,) tonight is a great night for racing!
