Anybody kinda recognize the trailers? I hear Emmitt Hahns cars were hauled on a trailer just like these.
Those trailers are Watson Trailers, AJ did it all!

Brian 26,
A.J. Watson was simply the best mechanic and builder of Indy cars in his
era. Wins in 1955 at Indy, with the Zink Kurtis, followed up by wins,
in 1956 with Zink, and Leadercard in 1959, 1962, all with cars he built, and was chief
mechanic on. And when he was just the builder, wins in 1960, 1963, and the last win by
a roadster in 1964. Thats 4 wins as a chief mechanic, and 6 wins as a builder, at the
Brickyard from 1955-1964. No other builder, or mechanic even came close during the roadster
era.

They did pull the super #52 on a trailer like this with the dolly wheels. But it had tire racks on it I think. Years ago someone on this forum said they still had this trailer or knew who still had one.

I noticed the 1 arm bandet shocks (adjustable). My dad (Vernon Schrater) used them on 24 and 14. I remember being told that Dick Hendershot connected a stearing wheel to one and strengthened his stearing muscles by turning against the resistance. He could adjust the resistance as needed. Anyone else ever heard of doing this?
