Thank you to everyone who makes it happen best weekend of racing all year long.

Friday, best nite with TK's charge up to third the highlight of the the weekend. Sat. kind of an anticlimax with Haud's spectacular last 2 laps to win the cup a thrill.
Would have been nice if Larson had started further back so he could show the fans what a star he is, but then most folks there already knew that.
I was wondering about Marcel, sic, who I believe is the distinguished gentleman who dresses in white and if he is ok.

We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

I got dirt in my nachos; 9.8/10. Honestly though it was a great weekend. My least exciting experience was probably the amount of cars running at the end of Saturday night. Coming from the back is fantastic, but when half the field is gone, it's not quite as potent. That's me being nit picky though! Besides, not sure what can be done about it.

I can't remember a better prelim night in the previous 17!
C B & A were all great . . . . coming thru the pack shows.
Larson was unreal for the 15 lap run.
TK was equally exciting in the next 15!
It all gets better every year.
Sure hope something happens to keep it going beyond the 20th!

I'll be back and bring more fans with me. Had a great time, met a lot of nice people. There are two Kyle's to talk about. Larson was the cream of the crop both nites, but Hirst's run in the Sat. B Main was one of the most impressive I've ever seen. Running 5th, got spun out, went to the rear, like 22nd or 23rd and then tore through the field to get 3rd, to bad he hurt the motor on the last lap. Would have been interesting with him starting on the front row of the A.

As usual the this years trophy cup is the best race of the season and already have plans for next year. The only slight change I would make is that the maybe the top two of each of the non-qualifiers on Friday tag the back of the heats. That way the whole weekend is not ruined if you have bad luck in Qualifying. You cannot win the cup, but at least you can have a better chance to recover. I think Henry Van Dam and Mike Henry both suffered all weekend from 30 seconds of errors. Give them a slightly easier path to the Friday A-main than the alphabet soup of D,C, and B mains.
Either way, I will see you in October 2012.

Everything that happened on the track for the two awesome days is ready on DVD, broken into segments: Qual, nonqual hts, 6 regular
heats, and all the mains etc, so you can watch it in the order or your choosing. Thanks to everyone who ordered at the track. Also, thanks
for all the kind statements made about past DVD's.
Can be ordered on PayPal. Use [email protected] to get to my acct.
Both days $25 including postage. Will be sent immediately upon receipt of the order.
Ask someone who already has the DVD if it was worth the price?!

I buy the video every year even if I attend the race. Thunderbowl Raceway always puts on a great show and the Trophy Cup is the crown jewel! Thanks for capturing this event Grove, it always helps get me through the off season.
